Privacy

SmicklePickle has no accounts, no ads and no trackers from other companies. It keeps only what the game needs, and a few anonymous numbers about how it is used.

On your device

Your browser keeps your name, animal and settings, the online games you play in (with the key that lets you back in), and a random visitor number for the statistics below. Clear this site's data in your browser to remove all of it.

On the server

An online game is kept on the server while it lasts, with the team and player names in it, so you can leave and come back. Once nobody plays it, it is removed after two weeks at most. If you turn on notifications, the server keeps the address your browser gave it for them, and removes it with the game.

Visitor statistics

When you open a page or start a game, the server notes your random visitor number, whether it was the website or the game, the kind of game (hotseat or online, for example), whether you use the installed app, your browser and operating system with their versions (just that, like "Chrome 141 on Android 14"), the time, and your country, worked out from your device's time zone. That's all: it doesn't keep your IP address, and nothing is shared with anyone. The numbers only show how many people play and what they play, so the game can get better.
